The main identifier of the beach is the islet of Karga which is located just 300 meters from the coast and you can visit it by swimming. Almyrida is, among other things, an ideal destination for families with children, as the waters are shallow and there is enough peace to relax, as well as the infrastructure to spend your whole day relaxing here. Near Almyrida is the village of Kalyves with also an excellent beach and very good food.
