This property has been partially renovated some years ago and it now consists of a kitchen and a sitting area as well as a bathroom at the renovated part on the ground floor and a big room and a storage at the part of the house that is not renovated. On the first floor there is a renovated living area and two bedrooms. The property has also acess to the room that can be used as a terrace, provating nice sea and mountain views. Τhe property has a courtyard as well as many traditional features. Chromonastri is a village and seat of the homonymous community of the Municipality of Rethymno in the Regional Unit of Rethymno of Crete. The settlement of Chromonastiri is located 11 klm southeast of Rethymno, northeast of Mount Vrysina at an altitude of 360 m and has been designated a preserved and traditional settlement. Buildings with Venetian architectural elements are scattered in the village of about 360 inhabitants. An important monument is the CLODIO villa in the east of the village. In the periphery of the village there are two important Byzantine churches, of Panagia Kera with frescoes of the 11th and 14th centuries and of Agios Eutychios in Metochi of Perdiki with frescoes of the 11th century which are considered to be among the oldest in Crete. In the center of the village there is a remarkable collection of folklore and it is housed in the Prinaris Mill.
